Dr. Gengenbach is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated Cum Laude and is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society. He currently is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Nebraska Optometric Association.Dr. Gengenbach completed clinical externships in Fernandina Beach, Florida and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Both sites emphasized knowledge in Primary Care as well as eye disease diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Gengenbach is a Carl Zess Vision Fellow, and he also received multiple awards for outstanding clinical and didactic performance during his four years of optometry school.
Dr. Gengenbach graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Animal Science and from Grant High School in Nebraska. He enjoys helping out his familys business, Gengenbach Cattle Company, and football.
