Biography


Biography:

Dr. Skaife is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic sports medicine specialist dedicated to the care of active individuals and athletes of all ages. Known for his empathetic bedside manner and expertise in arthroscopic and open surgery, Dr. Skaife focuses on comprehensive care, from diagnosis to rehabilitation. He has served as a team physician at numerous levels, including for The Ohio State University, and believes in tailored treatment plans that utilize the latest non-operative and surgical techniques.



He also has a strong interest in complex shoulder surgery, including arthroplasty and fracture care. He serves on a national shoulder arthroplasty committee and has been nominated as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor multiple years. For several years, he held a teaching position at an esteemed East Coast medical school and residency program with his practice based at a Level 1 trauma center.



When not treating patients, Dr. Skaife enjoys participating in all sorts of sports and is a two-time collegiate rugby national champion. He is a family man at heart who loves spending time in the great outdoors, attending sporting events, or traveling the world with his wife and two children.
