Accounts Receivable Representative
Full Time, M-F – Perkins County Health Services in Grant
The Accounts Receivable Representative assists with the on-site collection of aged accounts and patient payment arrangements. This position is responsible for the in-depth and detailed evaluation of patient financial history for both uninsured and underinsured inpatients and outpatients for the purpose of determining eligibility for financial assistance programs. Individual must build rapport with patients in the hospital setting as well as over the telephone. This position will research and update all financial policies for related entities. Work is performed within clearly defined areas of regulations and procedures and is reviewed and monitored by the Chief Financial Officer.
Customer service and computer skills required.
Previous experience preferred but not required
