The Perkins County Health Services Foundation
…..what it is…..what it does…..
The Perkins County Health Services Foundation
(PCHSF) is a financial support arm of the Perkins County
Health Services. Its Purpose is to provide support for the
advancement of local health care delivery.
Established in 1987, it proposes many different
methods of giving to the Foundation. Among these are gifts
of cash, bonds, stocks, gift annuities, securities, life
insurance policies, land, buildings, grains, livestock,
trusts, other real estate, etc.
There are various creative ways of presenting
property as a gift. For example, you could deed property to
the Foundation, and yet retain all the use and income from
it as long as you live. At the same time, you would have an
immediate, large tax deduction and clear your estate of
later taxation. You would also have the satisfaction of
knowing you were helping your community NOW!
A donation to the Foundation will result in…..
·
Maintaining high quality, close to home, local
health care
·
Attracting & retaining quality physicians &
medical staff
·
Assuring quality health care for future
generations
·
Current and estate tax savings to you.
Over the life of the Foundation (1987 through 2006), donors
have contributed a total of $2,630,553.00. During this
period, the organization has issued a total of $1,355,395.00
in grants to local health services. These grants have
primarily taken the form of medical equipment purchases,
loans and scholarships.
The January 1, 2007 net worth of the Foundation
was $1,642,753.00. The Board of Directors’ current goal is
to increase this value to over $2 million and continue to
grant over $100,000 per year to the local health services.
